Ridgewood Park Preschool and Parent’s Day Out provides an environment where children can learn and grow socially, academically and spiritually.
We prepare children for kindergarten in a nurturing and inclusive environment, while celebrating the light in every child.
Our programs give children the experiences they need, through structured and unstructured play, to grow and learn at their own developmental level.
By teaching these skills, we make sure the children are ready for kindergarten both socially and academically.
Established in 1960, Ridgewood Park Preschool & Parent’s Day Out has deep roots in our community.
We offer many features that parents are excited about:
- Small classes with low teacher-student ratios
- Cultural diversity with “It’s a Small World” celebration
- Facebook pages (private) for each classroom so you can see pictures of your kids
- Community Recycling
And a high degree of parental involvement with a “school family” feel are just a few!
Our play-based, rich curriculum – always developmentally appropriate – is focused on social, emotional and academic development to support each unique child as they PLAY-LEARN-GROW.
“We love Ridgewood Park Preschool! The director and teachers are so wonderful, loving and nurturing. They genuinely care about each child and their family. It is such a happy and welcoming place. We have been a Ridgewood family for over three years; my kids absolutely love attending and I know they are in the best of hands. It thrills me to see the smiles and joy on their faces and I love how excited they get about going to school!”

“When you live in a big city, it’s so special when you’re able to find an intimate preschool that feels like an extension of your family. Ridgewood Park has been a loving, inclusive environment for both of my children during the last seven years.”
